The World Spins Madly On

Hello fellow bloggers! I do realise I have not blogged in some time, I do apologise. I have been highly busy, doing very unimportant things. And funnily enough, I choose now, during exam time, to post a blog (procrastination reigns!) And also I do realise that my last blog, was more of a plead for red nose day rather than a 'something which happened recently in my life' kind of blog. However, I am not going to now tell you of something that has happened to me recently, As the only thing of interest to intimate would be that I started driving today, Went round the industrial estate with my mum. Was great and I didn't crash! Always a bonus! :)

Anyway, Back to the point of this blog. I wish to tell you instead of recent happenings, But of something I do every night of my life, Without fail, every night before I go to my bed.

Some of you may already know, that I am fascinated with the stars. The just amaze me with thier fantastic beauty and put me at peace with the world. You may also know that the view from my bedroom window is particularly unique, in that whenever I look out my window, I see the entire sky and right over the valley, When I move this view will be even more spectacular I am sure.

For the stressed person, I very much suggest you try this, It's kind of my meditation - as well as praying, It keeps me at peace with everything going on in my life. I switch everything off in my room, complete darkness and play one very peaceful, my very favourite song in the entire world. For me this song is 'The World Spins Madly On' By The Weepies. I'll show you the lyrics at the foot of this blog. Whilst the song is playing, off a computer, ipod dock or earphones, Open a window and just take a minute, even just a minute to gaze at the stars, take in thier awesome beauty -you will find, or I certainly find, that I cannot take my eyes off them, Not for a second. I end up usually sitting there for hours and hours sometimes, just gazing at them. Do you not find they are so amazing? One of Gods most amazing creations. They are just the most fantastic thing, I hope none day to be able to capture the perfect picture of the view I see every night.

Try it and tell me what you think. Obviously this will only work if the stars are all out, clouds are an obstacle we must cope with. But even still, I find it peaceful just to sit staring at the night sky.
